I awoke early this AM to find a certain little someone had gotten up before the sun to chant Sat Kar Tar (heart opening mantra) with her dear Daddy.

Piñata initiation & other birthday fun

Today was T's best pal at school's 3rd birthday party. Beautiful Victorian home with plenty of games on the lawn, a parade w instruments, rainbow parachute fun and of course cupcakes. Highlight for me was the owl piñata. It seemed to flummox both of our kids. The other kids had the hang of it thankfully so they got to enjoy a lolly and other piñata knick-knacks. So adorable watching these little sweeties enjoy each other.

A winter's day at the beach

We spent a January Saturday at Zuma & loved that we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. It was 82 & just perfect. Did I mention there were dolphins there the entire time leaping above the waves? Just one of those amazing California days...
